Some links on PicksCompass are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission. This is one of the ways we fund the research and writing that goes into our guides. It never determines which products we choose to research or how we evaluate them.

How Affiliate Links Work

When you click certain outbound links on the Site, a cookie is placed by the destination retailer or affiliate network, identifying that the visit came from PicksCompass. If you complete a purchase within that network's tracking window, we receive a small commission from the retailer, not from you. Your total price is unaffected.

Editorial Independence

Our research process — research, testing, evaluation, and recommendation — is completed before monetization is considered. We select what to feature based on our own editorial standards, and a product's affiliate commission rate is never a factor in whether or how we recommend it.

Programs We Participate In

PicksCompass participates in a number of affiliate programs and networks across the categories we cover, including general retail and specialty affiliate networks. We add or remove specific programs over time as our coverage evolves.

No Extra Cost to You

Using an affiliate link never changes the price you pay. The commission, when there is one, comes out of the retailer's marketing budget, not your wallet.
